During the last 3 days at Miners Online we have been developing a new lobby server. When joining Miners Online you will land in lobby instead of the survival or creative worlds.
This lobby server is online 24/7 meaning you will no longer get a scary error message when joining Miners Online when everything else is offline.
Server Selector compass
On your hotbar you will see a compass, This is the Server Selector. Just use your interact button (normally right click) and a fancy GUI built using Mojang’s official dialog framework - instead of archaic chest-like UIs that every other server has.
Server Selector NPCs
Through the archways and around the edge of the island are NPCs, currently there are only 3 on the south.
These NPCs represent featured servers, the text above them will display server status information.
To join the respective server just use your interact button again.
In Conclusion
The lobby represents a major milestone and a bright future of expansion for Miners Online. Throughout the year we will be releasing new game modes as player interest grows.
